SocialPrez connects to Facebook Pages you manage — never a personal profile — and publishes posts, Reels, and Stories through Facebook's Pages API.
What it does
- Publish a feed photo or video post, a Reel, or a Story to a connected Facebook Page. You can connect more than one Page.
- Schedule any post ahead of time, for as far ahead as your plan allows, using SocialPrez's own scheduler rather than Facebook's shorter native one.
- Read engagement numbers for posts you published — clicks, video views, reactions, and likes.
- Read the comments and replies other people leave on your Page's posts, so you can see them inside SocialPrez.
What SocialPrez does not do on Facebook:
- SocialPrez never posts to a personal profile — Facebook Pages only.
- SocialPrez only reads comments — it never edits, deletes, hides, or replies to a comment someone else wrote.
- SocialPrez never posts to a Page without you first creating or scheduling that specific post.
Permissions
Every permission Facebook shows on the consent screen, in plain English.
Your data
What SocialPrez reads: The list of Pages you manage and their names/avatars; the posts SocialPrez itself creates and their engagement numbers; comments and replies on your Page's posts.
What SocialPrez stores: Your Page's id and name, and a Page access token (encrypted, server-side only — never sent to your phone). SocialPrez only stores the Page's own token, not your personal Facebook login token.
What SocialPrez never does: SocialPrez never posts to a personal profile, never edits/deletes/replies to someone else's comment, and never sends any access token to your phone.
Rules
Pages only, no personal profile
Facebook removed personal-profile posting from its API years ago; SocialPrez has no code path for it.
One media item per Reel or Story
No carousels — Facebook's Reels and Stories endpoints only take a single item.
Reels rate limit
Up to 30 Reels published through the API per rolling 24 hours, a Facebook platform limit.
Newly created Pages aren't auto-included
Facebook's own consent screen defaults to your current Pages only; the app tells you to tap “Edit settings” on Facebook's screen to add a new Page.
Disconnect
In SocialPrez: Settings → Connected Account(s) → Disconnect next to the Page. This deletes SocialPrez's stored Page access token and connection immediately; SocialPrez stops posting or scheduling to that Page right away.
On Facebook: Disconnecting inside SocialPrez does not revoke the token on Facebook's side. To fully cut off access, review your Business Integrations on Facebook: open Facebook, go to Settings, and look for “Business Integrations” or “Apps and Websites” — the exact menu wording and location can change over time on Facebook's side.
Limits
- Comment and reply reading for Facebook is not yet available in production — the permission is granted, but real comment imports have not worked reliably yet. Do not expect to see comments today.
- Whether a post with zero shares shows “0” or shows nothing at all for the shares count has not been confirmed against a real shared post yet.
- If you remove SocialPrez from your Facebook Business Integrations, Facebook does not yet automatically tell SocialPrez to delete your data — disconnect inside the app, or delete your SocialPrez account, to remove it yourself.
