Accounts & subscriptions
A SocialPrez Pro or Max subscription belongs to one SocialPrez account. This page explains what that means, how to tell which account owns your subscription, and how to manage, cancel, or get a refund.
One subscription, one account
When you subscribe to Pro or Max, the subscription is tied to the SocialPrez account you were signed in with at the time — it doesn't move to a different account automatically.
Signing in with a different Google account opens a different SocialPrez account, even if you use the same email address elsewhere. If you subscribed while signed in with one Google account, that subscription belongs to that account until you switch back to it.
Signing in with Apple and signing in with Google are separate SocialPrez accounts. A subscription bought while signed in with Apple belongs to the Apple sign-in, and one bought while signed in with Google belongs to the Google sign-in.
Which account owns my subscription?
If the app tells you Pro belongs to a different account, that's the fastest answer:
- Sign in to SocialPrez with the account you used when you subscribed.
- Make sure your phone's store account is the one that paid: the active Google Play account on Android, or the Apple Account signed in to the App Store on iPhone.
- Open Settings → Restore purchases. With both matched, Pro or Max turns back on right away.
Use the same SocialPrez sign-in and the same store account (Google Play or Apple Account) each time. Switching either one switches which subscription Restore can find. If the app says the subscription belongs to a different account, it names the sign-in method that owns the subscription when it knows it; otherwise it asks you to sign in with the account you used when you subscribed. Then try Restore again.
Switching phones
Your subscription is tied to your SocialPrez account, not to a specific phone.
- Install SocialPrez on the new phone.
- Sign in with the same sign-in method and account you used before (Google or Apple).
- On iPhone, make sure the same Apple Account is signed in to the App Store.
- Open Settings → Restore purchases to confirm Pro or Max is active.
Restore purchases
Use this any time SocialPrez doesn't show the Pro or Max features you're expecting — after reinstalling the app, signing in again, or setting up a new phone.
Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed in to the account you subscribed with. SocialPrez checks Google Play on Android, or the App Store on iPhone, and turns your plan back on if that account owns an active subscription.
Manage or cancel your subscription
SocialPrez subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play on Android and through the App Store on iPhone, not inside SocialPrez itself — there's no separate checkout in SocialPrez. For the Google Play manage-subscription steps, the refund links, and dated step-by-step examples (upgrading to Max, switching Google accounts, and what happens when you delete your account), see Managing your subscription.
On iPhone
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap SocialPrez to see the renewal date, change plan, or cancel.
After you cancel, you keep access until the period you already paid for ends. Restore purchases only brings back a subscription that is still active, for example on a new phone or after reinstalling. Once a cancelled subscription has ended, subscribe again from the paywall in SocialPrez.
